Mortgage-Banking Income Skyrockets – What are the Repercussions???

The Wall Street Journal reported on June 3 that Mortgage-Banking income in Q1 of 2009 was that highest since it’s been tracked (2002). This is due to the massive amount of mortgage loans being created.
What does this mean across the world of Professional Services – from banking, to finance, to insurance, to mortgage, to real estate, to business support services? It means that money is changing hands and that there is money to be made. That’s not to say it isn’t competitive out there. But the only way to position your company to take advantage of the money that is there to make is to have a plan – and in my opinion that plan has to start with having the right people in place.
